“Understanding Special Purpose Doors
and Windows”

This presentation consists of a comprehensive overview of
specialty doors, frames and windows – including acoustical/STC, blast, explosion
and pressure resistant, bullet, ballistic and fragmentation/projectile
resistant, radio frequency and electro magnetic interference shielded, stainless
steel and thermal barrier types.
The program investigates
factors to consider when designing, specifying, taking off, estimating, bidding,
etc. these special application products.
It aims to educate, thereby helping ensure
appropriate decision-making on applications.
Everything from the final cost, installation,
maintenance and the satisfactory performance of these unique products largely
depend on the initial input by the design and specifying decision makers coupled
with distribution channel / value added re-seller active, conscience
involvement.
